Home    /     Meet Dr. JB

Dr. JB chose to specialize in Pediatrics because she loves taking care of kids and really enjoys the relationships she has with her patients and their parents. She knows that when kids are sick, it can be extremely stressful for parents. She feels honored to be trusted by parents with their children’s health. Her areas of special interest include allergy, asthma, eczema, and care of newborns. She believes kids should be allowed to be kids and loves partnering with parents to promote healthy kids through preventative care.

But possibly the best part for Dr. JB is that kids are funny and they make her laugh at work, every day.

Dr. JB was introduced to the direct care practice model in residency and was intrigued by the idea of the “old school” physician and the ability to provide a higher quality of patient care. In 2017 she left BMC and started Bend Kids Personal Pediatrics.

Dr. JB enjoys having more time with her patients Bend Kids and is happy to provide an innovative, complete healthcare model for kids in Bend. For those who may need, or simply still prefer a traditional insurance based practice, Dr. JB is also available to see patients right down the street at High Lakes Health Care.

Dr. Jennifer (JB) Warton was raised in both Northern California and Bend and is a graduate of Bend High School. After graduating from Central Oregon Community College with her AA degree in 2000, she attended Seattle Pacific University where she received her BA in Biology in 2002. She attended Midwestern University in Chicago and received her medical degree in 2007.

She completed her Pediatric Residency Training at Oregon Health and Sciences University (Doernbecher Children’s Hospital) in 2010. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. JB moved back to Bend in the summer of 2010 and practiced at BMC Pediatrics until 2017. While at BMC she was involved in many committees and projects including helping start the pediatric hospitalist program at St. Charles Medical Center.

Dr. JB loves the outdoors and spending time with her three young sons, practicing yoga, paddle boarding, traveling, skiing, snowboarding and more.
